Ehemalige Rare Mitarbeiter haben sich unabhängig machen wollen und die Playtonic Studios gegründet. Mit der Finanzspritze durch Crowfounding auf Kickstarter konnte man das geistige Banjo Kazooie Spinoff „Yooka Laylee“ umsetzen.
Nun wurde bekannt, dass der Titel sich richtig gut auf dem Markt schlagen konnte. Mehr als eine Million Spieler konnte man mittlerweile über alle Plattformen hinweg verzeichnen. Ein großartiger Meilenstein für ein kleines Indie-Studio. Hier ein Tweet:

Yooka Layle ist im Verlauf für Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC und zuletzt auch auf Switch veröffentlicht wurden.
