Konami hat Stellung zu den Gerüchten bezogen, dass die LOS Angeles Studios „Kojima Productions” geschlossen wurden. Demnach sind die Gerüchte richtig. In einre Stellungnahme bestätigte man dies den Kollegen von Dualshockers:
